It is with deep sadness that the Executive Board of Jurnie's Shelter has decided to discontinue a capital campaign to raise the funds needed to establish an emergency shelter for victims of domestic abuse. As of 2018 we are no longer collecting donations. We highly recommend that you look into donating to a shelter in your area.
The Executive Board thanks everyone for your support over the past eight years.
Mission Statement: The Jurnie's Shelter will provide shelter, education and counseling for you and your children who have been affected by domestic violence. It is our goal to help you to break the cycle that exists in domestic violence victims and help to remind you that the strength that you already have made you a survivor.
